Coming from Northern California's Sierra Mountain Foothills, Jonny has created quite a name in his local area.  Jonny has been noted in the El Dorado Mountain Democrat as "Placervilles's hardest working musician-hands down."  Jonny is the lead guitarist and shares a songwriting/vocalist role in the regionally acclaimed band Achilles Wheel.  With a foundation in blues, Jonny Mojo transcends genres blending rock, country, folk, fusion, bluegrass, and jam band styles with an eagerness to dive into the abyss of improvised exploration.  What really shines through in a performance is his heart felt passion for music.

Jonathan attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA on a performance scholarship.  Afterwards, he co-founded the group Pimp the Cat, which included Mark Greenberg, (Dickey Betts, Ronnie Earl), and Steve Grzeskowiak, (Angelique Kidjo). He has toured with Favored Nations recording artist Johnny A, Global Funk Council, Joe Craven & The Sometimers, and has had the opportunity to play and/or share the bill with artists such as Larry Coryell, B.B. King, Robert Cray, Bill Wyman, Huey Lewis, Dave Mason, Brian Jordan, Rick Parnel (of Spinal Tap), John Staton, Jackie Greene, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, Ozomatli, Spearhead, Oteil Burbridge, Garaj Mahal, and Maceo Parker.

David’s pocket drumming and crisp tone has earned him a seat with numerous Northern California luminaries such as Achilles Wheel, David Hunt Cameron, Mathew Hartle, Jen Rund, Dan Robbins, Marc Sven, Brian Vandemark, Warren Charles Jones, Rusty Stringfield, Rusty Buckets, Red Dirt Ruckus,  Derek Bodkin’s Hovering Breadcat, Jonny Mojo and Friends, The Nipper Brothers, and now Jonathan Stoyanoff and Jonny Mojo in Shoofly Complex.   Comfortable in just about any genre, David is what players are looking for in the backline.

See You Soon!
